Privacy and local progress

Learning progress

Exercise results, composition notes, practice time and daily completion are saved in your browser's local storage. This public version does not upload those results to a learner database and does not connect to a private Aion assistant. Other people using the site have separate browser progress.

Backups and deletion

Export progress backup creates a file on your device. Restore reads the backup you select. Clearing this site's browser storage removes your local progress; export a backup first if you want to retain it.

Audio and MIDI

Audio is generated locally in the browser. The app does not request microphone or camera access. MIDI access is optional and handled by your browser. MIDI note input is processed locally for practice.

Hosting

The hosting provider receives ordinary connection data needed to deliver the site, such as IP address and request information. Hosting infrastructure may keep operational or security logs and use security cookies to prevent abuse. The app has no first-party analytics or advertising trackers enabled.

Advertising

Advertising is not enabled in this version. No Google advertising script loads. If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated to identify the provider and relevant storage and consent controls. Personalised Google advertising for users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland requires an appropriately configured Google-certified consent management platform.

Shared devices

Progress is specific to the browser profile, not an authenticated account. People sharing one browser profile may see or change the same saved work.
